Fluent Design is Microsoft’s design language, which will be available in Windows 11 and additional applications throughout the year. However, Microsoft Teams will have to wait a bit for its own Fluent emoji upgrade. 

The upgrade was supposed to arrive in November last year, However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Microsoft was forced to postpone the launch. Though, it appears that emoji and many other capabilities may be included shortly in a substantial upgrade for Microsoft Teams users. 

Its online collaboration platform will celebrate its fifth anniversary this year, with the epidemic playing a big role in its 250 million user increase thus far. Nevertheless, with Microsoft famous for products like SharePoint still maintaining Skype, the new capabilities for Microsoft Teams must separate itself from being an excellent platform for enterprises to a necessary one. 

Though Fluent design has been accessible for Windows 11 and Office 365 2022, it has also been pushed to other Microsoft products such as Paint, Calendar, and others. 

Microsoft Teams, on the other hand, is set to gain from Fluent design next month, together with live call transcripts, enhanced meeting choices, as well as other improvements that will be added to the application this year.  

It’s important to mention, though, that we do not really know the actual debut date because the Microsoft 365 roadmap website simply states the month, which is February. It’s doesn’t specify when the functionality will be available. 

Additionally, Microsoft will be introducing a slew of new features to Teams this year, These new features may possibly be postponed. As video filters were also pushed back from August to March, which allows you to adjust your look before attending a conference call. 

Most of these improvements should be valuable to many people, but it is unclear whether any of them will be postponed again so that the Fluent design can be completed for Microsoft Teams in March this year.
